How I FINALLY Fell in Love With My Clarisonic

In Love with Clarisonic Cashmere Luxe

For all the hype the Clarisonic receives, I’ve honestly never been a huge fan of mine. I bought it in the summer of 2011 and maybeeeeee used it 20? 30? times since then. True story. Until I figured out how to make the Clarisonic work for me…

The secret?

Clarisonic Cashmere 2

Clarisonic Cashmere 1  Clarisonic Cashmere Luxe Brush Head

Change the freaking brush head. Specifically, use the Cashmere Luxe one.

I’ve always felt like the brush heads that I’ve tried have been a little harsh for my skin (even though I’ve tried the “delicate” and “sensitive” ones). So, when Clarisonic recently (-ish) released the Cashmere Luxe Facial Brush Head I thought it was kind of a gimmick and honestly ridiculous. But I kept hearing rave reviews about how soft it was and figured, “What the hell?” My thinking was that the ridiculously expensive ‘electric toothbrush for your face’ was already a sunk cost so why not see if this would help? Of course I waited until the recent Sephora sale to purchase the new brush head :). Sticking it to the man and all.

The verdict?

.

.

.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CASHMERE BRUSH HEAD.

IT’S WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY.

The brush fibers are three or four times longer than the regular brush heads creating a pliable, soft brush head. It’s glorious. The cleansing experience is so gentle and relaxing that I’ve gone through multiple cycles in the same wash. A rarity, I assure you. I can honestly say that I’ve used my Clarisonic more in the last month or so than I have in the past four years.

If you’re not in lurve with your Clarisonic, I would recommend giving this luxe brush head a go. You can wait until the next Sephora/Nordstrom sale and if you don’t like it, return that puppy! But I’m betting that you’ll love it just as much as I do.

Did you shell out the big bucks for a Clarisonic?

Do you love it or are you meh about it?

#NOTsponsored #JustaFan (Although I wouldn’t mind Clarisonic sponsoring me now that I have a cashmere brush head addiction…Please? Pretty Please?)

  1. Oooo I haven’t heard about this brush head so I’m going to have to check it out!

I have both a Clarisonic and a Foreo Luna (overkill perhaps?) and I do have to admit to liking the Foreo Luna more because it is just so darn gentle, yet effective (and you don’t have to change brush heads!). But I do feel bad that my Clarisonic isn’t being used,as it’s a bit of a waste *sigh first world problems or what lol but I am trying to be not as wasteful these days across the board, whether it’s to do with makeup, skincare or anything else.

    • I thought about getting the Foreo for a hot second but whew that price tag! It does look super gentle and if that’s what you’re going for then you’ll love the cashmere brush head!

      Lol #firstworldprobs hahaha!

  2. I JUST bought the Clarisonic during a recent sale at Lord and Taylor. But I have sensitive skin! So I guess I’ll be buying this new head.
Oh! Got the Nars blush Madly that you recommended. Be-yoo-ti-ful!

    • Good for you! I love this brush head- but maybe the others will work for you? If so, let me know and I’ll send you my backups that I will never use now that I’ve found my one true love.

Oohhh! I’m glad you like Madly! For the winter I love NARS’ Sin. How appropriate. 😉😊

  3. I’m a huge fan of my clarisonic! I’ve been addicted since day one and have tried all different types of brush heads (will have to try this one out soon too!) I think my favourite one is for the deep pore cleansing. Regardless of what I am using, my face always feels flawless after! Thanks for sharing!t

    • Good for you! The deep pore cleansing one has always scared me because of the name! Is it as harsh as it sounds?! You will literally die over the cashmere one. Soooo fabulous.
