When the ladies of High Voltage Blog made a summer vlog around New York City, they quoted some version of this title regarding this British cosmetics retailer. Ha-larious and so true. I’m partial to my mother ship, Sephora, but Space.NK.apothecary is quickly becoming a favorite. While Sephora has more offerings, Space.NK has far more luxurious products (in my opinion).
Earlier this summer I saw a post on The Beauty Look Book about a fab gift with purchase that I simply could not pass up. This gave me the extra little push I needed to place an order from this beautiful retailer.
I’d already eyed the gorgeous Ellis Faas Creamy Eyes Liquid Eyeshadow (on recommendation of Wayne Goss – maybe?) so I picked one up in the shade Lilac Taupe. I’ve only worn it a few times, but lemmetellya, my eyeshadow was solid after 14 hours of wear. Not a crease in sight. Simply amazing.
I couldn’t decide what else to get the qualifying GWP so I snagged a concealer pencil from a company I’ve never heard of, Nudestix. I purchased the Skin Concealer Pencil in “Light” (of course the lightest color) and it is a great color match. Not nearly as heavy or creamy as my beloved Urban Decay concealer pencil, but I’m kinda digging that feature in this hot summer weather. Another new favorite for sure.
The GWP included: Space NK Canvas Zip Pouch // Eve Lom TLC Radiance Creme // Diptyque Mini Candle // REN Micro Polish Cleanser // Bumble & Bumble Texture Creme // Caudalie Premiere Cru La Creme // Philip B. Light-Weight Deep Conditioning Rinse // Zelens 3t Complex Essential Anti-Aging Cream // Plus small samples from Eve Lom, Darphin and Bakel
Is that gift with purchase not the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen? The mini Diptyque candle did me in. Le sigh. Furthermore, ordering from Space.NK was a dream. The box was beautifully packed with the coolest stuffing ever. Presentation matters, y’all. I would absolutely order from them again (after I win the lottery or some stranger replenishes my sad graduate student bank account) and encourage you to try them out if you haven’t already.
Have you shopped or ordered from Space.NK before?
Do you own anything from Ellis Faas or have you heard of Nudestix?
Would you make a purchase for a fabulous GWP?
